That being said, I don't care so much about them changing the camera angles so that we aren't starring at Miranda's ass the entire time. In my opinion, if they aren't doing a full on remake, then they shouldn't change anything about the game (perhaps ME3's endings, but that's another discussion). The difference is that BioWare decided to disable them at the last moment because the game caught a bunch of shit over FemShep being able to romance Liara, and the game being "pornographic." (Which is obviously not true.) ME1 actually has them too and they are fully voiced. You do know, it's possible to dislike and disagree with all this fake woke shit and have no issues with homosexuality right? Besides that, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 already have gay romance options. YMMV, of course.You misunderstand what I said completely. (Kasumi and Liara's ME2/ME3 outfits didn't bother me as much, as they felt more designed to be appealing as opposed to actively objectifying. Miranda/Jack/Samara/Ashley/EDI are really well written and nuanced characters, but when it came to art direction in ME2/ME3 and cinematics in ME2, they were just there to be objectified. Miranda's such a great character, and those camera shots - especially in important dramatic moments - did her character such a disservice.īioware has improved since then, but there was a crazy dissonance in ME2/ME3 between how some of the female cast were written/treated within the context of the story and how the art direction and cinematics team treated them. (The amount of discomfit she must be in for her outfit to magically conform to her body at a level that both buttocks are still fully defined despite being clothed is astonishing, lol.) She'll still be in uncomfortable wedgie space Lycra hell throughout both ME2 and ME3 with her iconic biotic booty, that ain't changing. It's not like they've changed Miranda's ass, oh my god.
